Admenta Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. It helps to slow down the progression of moderate to severe Alzheimer’s by improving memory and thinking. This medicine works by blocking a chemical messenger involved in the transmission of nerve signals.
Admenta Tablet is taken by mouth with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor. Remember to inform the doctor if you have a history of seizures, kidney disease, heart disease, or liver disease. Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, confusion, sleepiness, abnormal liver function tests, balance disorder and shortness of breath.
